2008: 92 Points - Jay Miller, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2008 Les Terrasses Vinyes Velles is the same blend as the Camins cuvee (60% Carinena, 30% Garnacha, with 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah) but is aged for 12 months in 20% new French oak. It offers greater complexity both aromatically and on the palate. Smoothly-textured, intense, plush, and spicy, it opens up nicely in the glass with floral (lavender), mineral, pepper, and black cherry notes reappearing in the robust finish."

2008: 92 Points - Josh Raynolds, Steve Tanzer's International Wine Cellars: "A sexy, highly perfumed bouquet displays scents of candied raspberry, cherry cola, licorice and potpourri, supported by a strong mineral undertone. Juicy, penetrating red and dark berry flavors stain the palate and repeat the licorice note. Dusty tannins add grip and focus to a long, mineral-dominated finish."

2008: 90 Points - Thomas Matthews, Wine Spectator: "This medium-bodied red shows balance and drive, with cherry, berry, mountain herb and smoke notes, supported by firm, smooth tannins and fresh acidity. Compact and focused."
