Chateau de la Chaize is among the oldest, most historic estates in Burgundys Beaujolais region. Their roughly 250 acres of family owned vineyards cover approximately 8% of Brouilly, the largest Cru appellation of Beaujolais. In spite of the size of their vineyards, Chateau de la Chaize is committed to sustainable agriculture, avoiding chemical treatments, growing grasses between the rows to enhance the health of the soil, and hand-picking their grapes.
Chateau de la Chaize Brouilly represents a great value in Cru Beaujolais, offering up expressive raspberry and cherry aromas and a generous pure-fruited cherry palate.
