Wolffer Rose 2010

"Summer in a Bottle" Pale rose in color. Filled with clean fresh fruit aromas of peaches and pears, with hints of rose petals and great minerality. The mouthfeel is vibrant, elegant and well-focused. Beautiful ripe, fruity characters are well balanced by bursts of crisp acidity and a natural, refreshing CO2 mousse retained from the cold, slow fermentation process. The finish is clean and fresh with fine lees notes reminding one of the sun-drenched grapes at harvest. The dry finish is classic and makes this wine very elegant, leaving you longing for the next sip. This is another classic Wölffer Rosé-dry, light, very refreshing but complex enough to make it a great food companion.
