Appearance: Intense ruby-red color.
Nose: Toasty, warm scents of plum, candied cherry and licorice, with a suggestion of roasted coffee aromas.
Palate: Plush, round and almost sweet in its display of ripe cherry and strawberry fruit. Finishes with silky tannins, a repeating note of strawberry and very good length.
Gastronomy and Service: With lamb and suckling pig roasts, lamb chops cooked over vine cuttings, semi-cured goat cheeses, and oven-roasted fowl. Decant it 30 minutes prior to serving.

This rich red shows a deep core of plum, bramble and mineral, with notes of loam and game that impart a savory character. Solid tannins support a thick texture, while balsamic acidity keeps this balanced. Austere but harmonious. Drink now through 2024.-T.M.
|Wine maker notes
|Intense Tempranillo character is apparent in a concentrated, deeply colored red wine. Saturated red fruit grips the palate, leaving a long and sweet finish that promises excellent development in the bottle.
