Wine maker notes

Tasting Notes:
Aromas of orange blossom and grapefruit are accompanied by lemon, melon, peach, and nectarine flavors that are ripe, juicy and refreshing. Medium bodied, with a crisp, refreshing, slightly minerally finish.

Vineyard Notes:
The fruit for this wine comes from our sustainably farmed vineyard in Rutherford, as well as other nearby vineyards.

Production Notes:
Aged on light lees for 3 months. 41% in neutral oak, 59% in stainless steel.

Winemaker Notes:
All fo the juice is fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks using a variety of yeast strains selected to bring out the aroma and flavor profiles of Sauvignon blanc.

Food pairing

The acidity in Sauvignon blanc makes it one of the world’s best food wines. Some classic pairings include rosemary roasted chicken, mussels and salmon. Delicious with oysters, spicy Asian food and garlic.
