Rich and toasty, with honey and roasted almond notes layered with flavors of baked peach, orange blossom, brioche and pastry cream. A harmonious Champagne, featuring a refined mousse and bright acidity. Drink now through 2020.-A.N.

The NV Brut Grande Reserve opens with a bouquet of chalk, slate and wet stones. It is a beautifully pointed, energetic wine endowed with gorgeous drive from start to finish. Red berries, dried flowers and mint are some of the nuances that inform the finish. This is Lot # L0428123. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2016. ”

Wine maker notes
Gosset’s reputation for excellence starts on the vines. Its champagnes are composed almost entirely of grapes from Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards. Unlike most champagne producers, this illustrious wine house purposely avoids malolactic fermentation and always performs riddling and disgorging of prestige cuvees and large-format bottles by hand. Gosset champagnes are made with infinite care and kept in deep cellars for at least three years - and up to five or more for vintage and prestige cuvees - before release.

Technical notes
Grape Varieties - 43% Chardonnay, 42% Pinot Noir and 15% Pinot Meunier sourced entirely from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards. Chardonnay is sourced from Grand Cru vineyards in Mesnil Sur Oger, among Premier Cru vineyards. The Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier come from the Grand Cru vineyards of A , Ambonnay, Bouzy, and Verzenay. Vinification - A blend of three superior vintages and an excellent representation of the distinctive house style of Gosset. The wine spends approximately 5 years resting on the lees prior to release.

Food pairing
Undoubtedly a wine for the table, a perfect match with sweet and subtly spiced dishes of cooked fruit, sweet and sour, tajines, etc. This Champagne is a dual personality that gladly complements elaborate dishes with simplicity as by nature it is both tender and tense and sophisticated and confident.
