|I’ll soon head up to Cape Cod, and when I do, this is one of the first wines I will uncork. I can’t get out of my mind how the first sip of this luscious Chardonnay will taste after a bite of New England lobster roll on a buttered bun. As a food pairing, I have to invoke an old baseball phrase: “Right down Broadway.” I prefer a simple roll, with large chunks of lobster, not too much mayo, and perhaps a touch of tarragon to unwind and enhance the wine’s oaky aromatics. Other than that, I also plan on sipping this while snacking on fresh fruit salad and sweet potato chips.
