The finest of the duo, the 2011 Saint Peray Fleur de Crussol exhibits massive minerality, as well as loads of honeyed tropical fruits and buttered grapefruit. Full-bodied, rich and textured, with some caramelized oak showing, this fresh, lively and impressive white should drink beautifully over the coming 4-5 years, and probably have a lifespan of a decade or so.

Lush and inviting, with creamed peach, orange zest, toasted brioche and macadamia nut notes, culminating in a long, citrus oil–infused finish. Drink now through 2014.—J.M.
