Terrazas de Los Andes Chardonnay Altos del Plata 2013

750ML
Sku: P9987

n Mendoza, 3,900 feet above sea level there exists the ideal growing area for the vineyards that give origin to the Terrazas de los Andes Altos del Plata Chardonnay. It is the unique combination of altitude, dry soils, sunny climate and cool breezes from the Andes that allows the Chardonnay grape to become its most expressive.

Tasting notes
Fresh and rewarding, this balanced white has good acidity and fills the mouth as it should. Light yellow with greenish hues, discern in its fruity palate intense white fruits like pear and green apple, with delicate floral notes of jasmine. Easy to drink.

Wine maker notes
2013. Golden yellow with greenish highlights. Highly fruity. It reveals typical peach and white fruit notes, as well as tropical aromas such as pineapple and ripe melon. Slight herbal touch and white chocolate notes. Excellent balance between freshness and sucrosity. Hazelnut and vanilla hints in the finish.

Technical notes
Harvest 2013 has been one of the most important harvests of the last decades in qualitative terms, thanks to the absence of climate risk factors. It was characterized by cool climate trends, excellent health conditions and scarce rain. Mild temperatures contributed to an extended ripeness and cool nights helped with keeping a great acidity and a right aromatic development.
