The non-vintage Rose is a combination of 49% Pinot Noir, 47% Chardonnay, and 4% Pinot Meunier. Framboise intermixed with notions of herbs, earth, and brioche offer a delicious introduction to this dry, medium-bodied rose, which has an average tirage age of 29 months. The finish is long, and the bubbles are tiny, precise, and consistent. This sparkler should be enjoyed over the next 1-2 years. Score: 90. —Robert Parker, December 2006.
