One of the oldest breweries in Akita, Suzuki Shuzoten has been run by the Suzuki family for 19 generations since its founding in 1689. Their sake still bears the name Hideyoshi, given to them by a feudal Lord who deemed the brewery one of the best in all of Akita. They have won numerous awards with their philosophy of “innovation and tradition.”
