Ripe and generous. A plump mouthful of plum and blackberry fruit is balanced with savory notes around the edges, finishing with a mild grip of fine tannins. Best from 2010 through 2014. 560 cases imported. –HS

The 2007 Jimmy Section Shiraz received the same elevage as the Clarendon bottling and reveals a similar personality but with considerably more fruit. It will profit from several years of cellaring and its outstanding balance makes it a better bet to provide pleasure from 2012 to 2025.
