The 2005 Livernano is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Sangiovese that spent 18 months in 100% new French oak. Dark blueberries, spices and sweet French oak come together in a soft, seamless style. The wine possesses notable richness and density, along with commendable balance. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2016.
