The 2007 Chianti Classico is a very beautiful, expansive wine laced with high-toned red fruits, flowers and spices. This stylish, textured Chianti reveals gorgeous balance, with hints of tobacco and licorice that linger on the finish. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2015.

This real Chianti Classico immediately brings to mind the elegant beauty of Tuscany. The wine is streamlined and tight yet generous in its portrayal of wild berries, white almonds and delicate spice. Fresh and long-lasting, it would pair with hand-kneaded gnocchi with spinach and ricotta cheese.
