Established in 1981 by Ron and Diane Miller, this winery has been producing proprietor-grown wines that possess richness, elegance and age-worthiness. Over time, the Miller family has assembled a rich and diverse mosaic of six family-owned sustainably farmed vineyards, each selected for its ability to contribute nuance and character to the wines.
Silverado has always searched for quality by implementing state-of-the-art viticultural techniques and creative winemaking methods. From its early use of extended maceration (a common technique today) to its recent focus on newly-designed small, stainless steel barrels in its Chardonnay program
Today, winemaker Jonathan Emmerich continues Silverado's reputation for excellence and consistency, handcrafting estate wines that combine classic structure with understated elegance.
