The 2011 Aspro Classic is the winery?s blend, this year with 30% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Muscat and 50% Tsaoussi. Now, unlike the winery?s trademark Robola, this doesn?t have a lot of solidity in the mid-palate. It?s lighter, more elegant, more summer weight. What it does have, though, is more exuberance and an invigorating, summer wine feel. It?s fun to smell, it?s fun to taste and it has enough persistence to go with the charm. It does have some substance and a finish to go with the aromatics. It will hold longer, but it is a wine best drunk young until you get there and decide it is useful to hold. Drink now-2014.
