Amontillado Argüeso is a wine made from Palominograpes, from vineyards located in the municipality of Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
After they are harvested and pressed, the must ferments in stainless steel deposits at a controlled temperature of 25°C. Once the wine is selected, it is fortified up to 15% vol. Then it is introduced into the "criaderas" and "soleras" system, ageing biologically with the flor (yeast cap) for 4 years, and then going through oxidative ageing. In total, it is aged for a minimum of 10 months.
Amontillado Argüeso is an ample, balanced and soft generoso wine. It stands out for the great combination of the notes from its two ageing processes, aromas of yeasts on an extremely elegant roasted background.
