Gold color. Aromas of pear, honey, heather, apricot yogurt sap, dill, and chamomile-ginger tea with a satiny, crisp, dry-yet-fruity light body and a smooth, elegant, medium-long buttered shortcake, thyme, and tangerine finish. A gentle, classic Speyside single malt that dances on the palate.
Speyside, Scotland- New packaging same iconic whisky, highlighting the Double Oak process Glenlivet 12yr has always used. Matured in European and American Oak casks, for it's distinct smoothness. Balanced flavor, with notes of pineapple and vanilla. Long, creamy, smooth finish.
Wine Enthusiast 92 points Vibrant gold with orange highlights, fruity scent of apples and pears plus a whiff of vanilla. Soft, velvety feel. This is a pleasant and drinkable Scotch, but the flavors are relatively muted. It mixes well with other flavors, making it a good contender for cocktails. Good value.
