Israel.

Wine Spectator 90 Points | A well- built, weighty red, with pronounced herbal freshness cruis- ing alongside fresh plum, fig and blueberry flavors. Gently framed by supple tannins, this gains density as it ap- proaches the long finish. Interesting, thanks to incense, eucalyptus and savory acidity. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. From Israel. Drink now through 2028. 850 cases made, only 150 Cases Imported to the United States.

This wine is a luscious blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot and 22% Petit Verdot. This wine is the flagship of the Gvaot Winery, and something you do not want to miss. The wine reaches its peak about five years after harvesting and will continue to develop for 12-14 years under suitable conditions.

It is an excellent match for complex meat dishes such as beef Wellington or tournedos-style filet, or slow-roasted saddle or leg of lamb with root vegetables.

Open about two hours before serving, or pour into a decanter.
