Wine Advocate 90 points The 2020 Assyrtiko Ecosystem Aghia Kiriaki is a single-block wine sourced from Aghia Kiriaki, at 620 to 710 meters in altitude. This is unoaked and comes in at 13.2% alcohol. With the extra year of age on it, this has a more burnished and harmonious feel to it while still seeming young. The fruit is pure and surprisingly rich in mouthfeel. It lingers nicely, both coating and gripping the palate. As this airs and warms, it just gets better. This is increasingly an impressive "off Santorini" Assyrtiko. The question today is where the ceiling is and how the wine might develop. The structure is not as immediately impressive as the fruit profile and depth, but it should still hold well.
