92 Points Vinous | The 2021 Sauvignon Blanc EQ Coastal trom Casablanca was fermented in amphorae, cement and stainless steel. Greenish yellow in hue. The restrained nose presents notes of chamomile, herbs and hints of rue, cucumber, lavender and lime, but this really comes alive in the mouth, with a compact texture channeled by the heightened freshness, good fat and a long-lasting, citrusy finish. Pale straw-yellow color and a complex mix of aromas including citrus notes, ripe white fruit, fig leaf, refreshing salinity, and a hint of spice typical to this varietal in coastal climates. On the palate, the wine is fresh and nervy with good volume, concentration, spark, fruit and a hint of saline on the finish.
