The variety Verdejo Malcorta was almost extinguished but, after years of research, Javier Sanz Viticultor has managed to bring it back to use in order to craft this unique wine. It is an extremely unusual clone of Verdejo which was no longer used due to the difficulty of its harvesting (which explains the name “Mal-corta”: Bad/difficult to cut).
